The End-of-Life/Palliative Education Resource Center recently published four new excellent Fast Facts entitled Health Professional Burnout.
Burnout is a significant risk to health care professional. More importantly, it constitutes a risk to those who are treated by burned out professionals. There's helpful information to be found in the citations that we have made below. There's great wisdom on the site noted above as well. It is, in our view, an absolutely essential resource for those helping patients who are facing the end of life:
