In the News : ElderWeb.com updates - once again

For some long years ElderWeb has been at the forefront of education on long term care and news of interest and support to the elderly. When ElderHope was just dreaming about making it's web site more accessible (a goal still out there in the future, though getting nearer, hopefully), ElderWeb was doing it.

Published by Karen Stevenson, ElderWeb is a leader both in the undiminished intensity of it's news, reporting and information, but also in the quality and commitment of its site design to the greatest level of readability and access. As an example of her efforts to continually improve her site, recently she switched her site over to the Drupal Content Management System. She notes in a recent article that she is trying to be a contributor to Drupal. This is typical of her work. Since we have been watching ElderWeb(some years now), we have admired the continual efforts to make the site the most readible and informative it can be.

The information to be found on the history of long term care is simply the best and most comprehensive we have ever found anywhere and deserves a read by anyone trying to understand how we got to caring for the elderly as we do today.

ElderHope wishes to take this space and time to say thanks to Karen Stevenson for her efforts in the care of the elderly and in her utilization of the internet for a most worthy and altruistic purpose. We hope that all of our visitors will visit her at ElderWeb and offer her your congratulations for work well done.
